Referral Process for Professionals

What makes an appropriate referral?
Many children are referred to Kids ‘n Kinship by their social worker, counselor or another professional in their life. Kids ‘n Kinship follows up on all referrals; however it is the decision of the parent and child if they wish to participate in the Kids ‘n Kinship program.

Additional Community Resources

Along with connecting youth with mentors, Kids ‘n Kinship is also dedicated to making sure the families of the youth in our program are set up for success and we provide several resources for helping families who need a little extra support.

She is an amazing mentor and is one more positive role model for my child. And I, as her guardian, want to bring as many positive people as I can that will bring value into her life. Our mentor and this program have most definitely fulfilled that need.
